Creating Optimal Health For Your Pet

We will use the information collected during your pet’s annual examination to keep him or her healthy. Depending on the findings, we may offer:

Nutritional counseling

We perform a weight check at every visit to make sure your pet is in good shape. If this portion of the exam reveals that your pet is at an unhealthy weight, we will offer nutritional counseling and exercise recommendations.

Preventative eye care

During the exam, we will check your pet’s eyes for responses to light, discharge and redness. If your pet is older, we will also evaluate for signs of cataracts which, if left untreated, eventually lead to blindness.

Dental health tips

A healthy mouth is directly tied to your pet’s overall wellbeing and quality of life. At every exam, our vets will check for masses, odors, and swelling, which can be signs of periodontal disease. Depending on what we find, we will help you improve your pet’s dental health with deep cleanings and regular brushings.
